Reimagine & Refresh

Historically, Rancho Bernardo Inn has been a heavy group/events hotel and while it has all the qualities of a destination resort to attract leisure guests, the focus and opportunity has been limited in the past. The resort was not geared strongly to building awareness and reputation as a leisure destination, although plans were put in place early 2020 (pre COVID-19) to reposition the resort with refreshed branding and storytelling assets that would appeal to both leisure and group customers.

The plan was to build a stronger leisure demand and higher rates (to exceed group rates) over the course of two years.  We needed to accelerate plans for much wider reach and quickly establish compelling destination resort messaging to draw leisure guests.
